Our Statement Of Faith
It is difficult to detail all we believe in a few sentences but we offer these points to know that we fully believe the bible:
1. The bible, in its entirety constitutes the written word of God, divinely inspired by God
2. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
3. The Lord Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever and the healings and miracles of bible days are available to believers today
4. All mankind has sinned and is in need of salvation to restore their relationship back to God.
5. Salvation is the free gift of God provide to everyone, only by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
6. Baptism in water by immersion for believers is a symbol of the Christian’s identification with Christ in his death, burial, and resurrection
7. Baptism of believers in the Holy Spirit as a second experience apart from salvation and available to all believers where the Holy Spirit comes upon the believer and is evidenced by the power in witnessing. All disciples in the bible had the initial sign of speaking in other tongues; a believers personal prayer language, after being baptized in the Holy Spirit
8. Receiving the Lord’s communion in remembrance of His death, burial and resurrection.
9. Evangelism of the lost and discipleship of Christians for the work of the ministry
10. The second coming of Christ including the catching away of the church and the actual, visible return of Christ with His saints
11. The resurrection of the dead in which the lost along with the devil and his angels will have eternal punishment and the saved will have eternal happiness.
